Description
Collection relating to the service of Captain Alexander Warren Macdonald, 34 Battalion, at sea, England, France, 1916-1919. Collection consists of thirty-three letters written by Captain Alexander Macdonald to his father in Sydney, one letter written by Macdonald's father enquiring into the circumstances of his son's death, and a letter from the Australian Red Cross Society which gives details of Captain Alexander Warren Macdonald's death in France.
