Collection relating to service of 34318 Gunner Frank Liddell Byard, 108 Howitzer Battery, 8 Field Artillery Brigade, Belgium and France, 1917-1918. Collection includes copies of diary and letters sent home to family in Australia. Copy of diary made by Byard's father and sent to Memorial in 1928. Location of original unknown.
