Description
Memoir written by Instructor Captain Richard G Fennessy DSC, who served with the Royal Australian Navy on HMAS Nestor (1941-1942) and at HMAS Harman during the Second World War. The memoir concerns the events surrounding the mutiny on HMS Nestor and Courts Martial of Lieutenant Commander Henry Cooper and Commander Stewart on HMS Tyne in 1941. Also recounted is an attack on HMS Nestor by torpedo bombers and high level bomber aircraft 23 July 1941 while the ship was in the Mediterranean, south of Sardinia.
