Description

Webley Mark VI issue revolver holster made from brown cow hide. The holster is has double cotton stitching and features a leather belt loop, brass hangar and a brass notch riveted to the flap to secure the leather locking belt. Markings - DAVIS & CO 1916.

History / Summary

The pistol holster came with the revolver that was offerred to the Australian War Memorial through the New South Wales Police Service firearms amnesty in 2001 and belonged to the deceased estate of Mr Hearne who saw service with Z Special forces during the Second World War.
