Experimental Owen Sub Machine Gun Bayonet Scabbard
Description
Brown leather scabbard for an experimental Owen sub machine gun bayonet. The blade section is held together with stitching and five rivets. It has a belt loop with a press stud strap to hold the bayonet handle. There are no manufacturers markings.
History / Summary
This bayonet scabbard was part of a consignment sent for destruction in the late 1950's at Port Kembla and recovered by the donor.
