Black canvas back pack : RAN Boarding Party
Black canvas backpack. The pack comprises a single large bag with a drawstring top and an overlapping flap secured by two 'Fastex' clips. This top flap also contains a small internal pocket with a zip closure. A larger external pocket with a zippered closure is attached to the lower front of the pack. On the padded rear of the pack are a pair of padded shoulder straps, adjustable by plastic buckles on nylon webbing tapes. There is also a nylon webbing waist strap, secured by a 'Fastex' clip, and a nylon web carrying loop sewn between the tops of the shoulder straps. Each side of the pack is fitted with a pair of adjustable straps to secure external loads. A blue and white maker's label sewn inside the top flap is stamped with the code number '9714' and marked in black felt pen 'BP27 CAN'.
