Gonorrhea

Venereal disease prevention poster, presumably the thirteenth page of a book that has been torn out. This is a text-based poster, with no images. The poster outlines the various medical complications that can arise from being infected with Gonorrhea, and makes it very clear that Gonorrhea is a serious infection. An extract of the text reads 'IF YOU want your Bunkie to think you are a poor, ignorant simp tell him that - "Gonorrhea is no worse than a bad cold." 'The posters produced by the Social Hygiene Division were a breakthrough in preventive medicine - previous to the war, venereal diseases were rarely discussed, and there were limited medical resources in the United States for the treatment of those suffering from them.
