Gonorrhea
Venereal disease prevention poster, presumably the thirteenth page of a book that has been torn out. This is a text-based poster, with no images. The poster outlines the various medical complications that can arise from being infected with Gonorrhea, and makes it very clear that Gonorrhea is a serious infection. An extract of the text reads 'IF YOU want your Bunkie to think you are a poor, ignorant simp tell him that - "Gonorrhea is no worse than a bad cold." 'The posters produced by the Social Hygiene Division were a breakthrough in preventive medicine - previous to the war, venereal diseases were rarely discussed, and there were limited medical resources in the United States for the treatment of those suffering from them. This is no. 13 in a series of venereal disease prevention posters.
