Description
Webley Mark VI double action six shot revolver. The frame is stamped with British proof marks and WEBLEY MARK VI PATENTS 1916. The grips are brown checkered plastic held to the frame with a central screw bolt and there is a lanyard ring on the butt.
History / Summary
This pistol was carried by Captain (later Lieutenant Colonel) Rickard when he won the Military Cross on the Somme in 1917, and in Syria during the Second World War when he won his Distinguished Service Order. He was also awarded two Mentioned In Dispatches during the Second World War.
