United Nations baseball cap : Bombardier N E Price, Civil Military Affairs (4 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment) UNTAET
Blue baseball cap with a blue and white embroidered United Nations badge sewn to the centre front. In faint blue ink on the inside of the crown is handwritten 'PRICE'. The edge of the hat visor is worn, with the left side exposing a plastic internal visor and the right side having frayed and slightly separate from the crown. The sweatband shows signs of use. The size of the cap is adjusted via plastic notch system on the rear of the cap.
This baseball cap was worn in East Timor (now Timor Leste) in 2001 by Bombardier Nathan Edward Price. Price served in the Australian Army from 22 January 1991 to 2 November 2003. He served with United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) from 24 April to 24 October 2001 with the Civil Military Affairs attached to 4 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment.
