Collection of Lieutenant Clifton Albert Sweetnam, 53rd Battalion
Description
Studio portrait of 7315 Private (Pte) Arthur Eric Sweetnam, 24th Reinforcements, 1st Battalion. A motor mechanic of Paddington, NSW, he embarked from Sydney on 10 February 1917. On 22 September 1917 he was wounded in action, requiring medical treatment in England. He returned to Australia, leaving England on 16 May 1918.
