Description
Collection relating to NX29000 Signalman Robert Ingram, 8 Division Signals, 1941-1945. It comprises correspondence between Robert Ingram and his parents, 1941-1942, correspondence to his wife, Marjorie, January-February 1942 and a letter from Marjorie to Robert's parents, January 1942. Included are prisoner of war cards from Robert's imprisonment in Japan. Also in the collection are photographs of Robert and correspondence to Marjorie from the military and friends relating to Robert's death in Japan in April 1944. Other records comprise two notebooks with addresses kept by Robert.
