Jungle Road (AC 187)
Description
Papua and New Guinea today (1963), showing the terrain, people and customs, technical trade training of the local people, the development of agricultural schemes, and health services carried out by the New Guinea Administration. Shows development works being carried out by 21 Construction Squadron RAE such as new roads, electric power and telephone services, housing, construction of a jetty and an airstrip. A major project for the Army engineers is the construction of a new road through the rugged Toricelli mountain range from Wewak to Maprik.
