A Canadian Military Pattern, Cab 12, 4x4 Field Artillery Tractor (FAT) also known as a Quad, attached to the 108th Tank Attack Regiment lies on its side after hitting a culvert and overturning on a road near the coastal town of Glenelg, SA. Used primarily as a towing vehicle for QF 25 pounder field guns, the vehicle was being utilised as a personal transport on the day of the accident. The roof of the Quad has been crushed and the windscreens smashed. The unidentified injured occupants have been laid out or are sitting on the roadside receiving medical assistance. Identified (bending down left): QX738 Sergeant Kenneth Alexander Blyth. Two plain clothed police officers (standing, left) are also in attendance.
