Cloth Badge : Captain B Seesink, Australian Army Training Team Iraq
Circular unit patch made from several shades of embroidered brown and black cotton. The design incorporates a scorpion superimposed over an Australian flag, surrounded by 'ARMY TRAINING TEAM JTF633 / MIDDLE EAST'. The entire rear surface of the patch is covered in beige Velcro for attaching to the upper sleeve of the uniform.
Worn on the sleeve of the Disruptive Pattern Desert Uniform (DPDU) this badge was worn by members of the Australian Army Training Team - Iraq (AATT-I). The AATTI was formed specifically to provide advice and guidance to the officers and non commissioned officers in the Iraqi Army to enhance the training of their recruits. This badge was worn by Captain Ben Seesink during his service in Iraq from 3 May to 28 October 2004.
