History / Summary
These instructional signs were used as a guide for the 460 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force armourers when loading the long ammunition chutes inside G for George. These long distinctive chutes inside the fuselage carried the .303 calibre (7.7mm) ammunition down the floor of the aircraft to the rear turret which was equipped with four Browning .303 machine guns.
