Description

Green plastic water bottle with screw top opening and attached lid in a felt lined canvas DPCU pouch. Written in raised lettering on the front of the bottle is 'FOR WATER ONLY DO NOT APPLY CANTEEN TO OPEN FLAME OR BURNER PLATES', and on the base is 'NYLEX 1995 (broad arrow) 8465-66-086-8349'. The bottle is worn and scratched and dirt is present in places. The pouch has a cotton webbing loop with two metal slide clips on the rear and a bent wire hook belt loop. There is a small length of webbing attached to the front, and two flaps at the opening fastened by press studs to secure the bottle. There are also three black metal eyelets in the base of the pouch.
