Aluminium cup and stand : Corporal A A Rutledge, 2 Cavalry Regiment, East Timor
Description
Aluminium cup and stand designed to fit around the lower half of a plastic water bottle (REL33923.003). The cup has a hinged alloy handle that folds around the cup and stand for storage. Stamped on the handle is '8465-66-058-5567 silverglo AUSTRALIA 1999 (broad arrow)'. The stand has five 'holes' across the front and is used to support the cup above a fire in order to heat water. Stamped on the stand is 'US 89 PAC. FAB 8465-01-250-3632'. The cup and stand show signs of wear from the folding handle and the inside of the stand is scorched.
