Studio portrait of 5441 Private (Pte) Francis Henry Sebire, 5th (later 60th) Battalion of Middle Park, Victoria. A school teacher prior to enlisting, he embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ayrshire (A33) on 3 July 1916. On 20 November 1916, he was killed in action near Flers, France, aged 26. Pte Scott does not have a marked grave and is remembered with honour on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
