Australian National Flag : C-130 Hercules Detachment, Joint Task Group 633.4.1.2
Description
Australian blue ensign flag which is made up of three sections and is sewn across the centre and down along the Union Jack. Each of the stars is machine stitched to the flag. A pair of Inglefield suspension clips are attached to the hoist. Sewn to the lower hoist is a white fabric label.
History / Summary
Australian flag carried on combat missions over Iraq in a F-15 Strike Eagle of 492nd Fighter Squadron, USAF on 23 January 2006 and over Iraq and Afghanistan in a C-130 Hercules of 37 Squadron, RAAF on 5 and 6 February 2006.
