Winter mess dress waistcoat : Brigadier F D Buckland, Australian Army
Description
Black winter mess dress waistcoat with shawl neckline and a welt pocket set into each side of the front. The waistcoat fastens with four gold anodised aluminium staff officer's buttons, which are attached with split rings. The back and front lining is made from black synthetic with a woven pattern of small chevrons. An internal breast pocket is set into the proper left front lining. A red and white woven manufacturer's label for 'Christie's Pty Ltd SYDNEY' is sewn to the proper right front lining.
