Grave cross: Unknown British soldier
Description
Wooden cross made from two pieces of wood nailed together. The horizontal piece has been broken, removing part of the message written onto it. What is left of the message is fadded, but reads 'Unknown British'.
History / Summary
Wooden grave cross used to mark the grave of an unknown British soldier at Bullecourt. A helmet (RELAWM00515.002) was placed on the top of the cross.
