Description
The grave of NGX91 Gunner (Gnr) Eric George Hadley, 9th Battery, 3rd Anti Tank Regiment in the El-Alamein War Cemetery. Gnr Hadley was killed in action on 1 November 1942 during the German offensive on Australian positions just to the west of Tel el Eisa. Although Gnr Hadley enlisted in New Guinea he was born in Sydney. The grave is marked by a cross, a plaque with a Rising Sun in relief and a stone engraved with the words "Ever remembered".
