Description
Ring band, possibly cut from a piece of pipe. There is a small hole in the ring and it may originally have had a design attached ot the front.
History / Summary
Associated with the service of QX31963 Trooper Herbert George Harris, 2/6 Commando Squadron. Trooper Harris was born in Sydney on 6 December 1912. He enlisted at Brisbane on 4 May 1942. Before he enlisted he worked in the horse racing industry. He died of wounds on 21 September 1943 in New Guinea and is buried in the Lae Military Cemetery.
