Identified, left to right, back row: Lieutenant (Lt) Dudley Grinlinton [alias Dudley Grinlington], later died of wounds on 17 October 1917; Lt George Freeman Evans, later Captain and killed in action on 14 August 1916; Lt F W Roberts; Lt Bernard Everett Bardwell, later Captain, returned to Australia 4 May 1917); Captain (Capt) Julian Rodger Bede O'Sullivan; Major Alexander Peter Imlay; Lieutenant Colonel Leach; Capt William Garfield Hartley, later died of wounds on 9 August 1916; Lt Waller; Lt Oscar Jilley, later died of wounds on 6 August 1916.
