[Poursuite] au front
Description
Depicts the right half of a double leaf composition. See also ART19885.01 verso. Full illustration depicts a French infantryman with a bayonet rifle advancing to a fence line (the Western Front, perhaps) while German soldiers flee in the upper right. Bombs explode all around them and rockets propel through the sky. Full title is 'Pursuite au front' over the two leaves, which translates as 'Chase at the front'; verso: left half of a double leaf composition. See also ART19885.003. Full title across the two leaves is 'Poursuite à l'arrière', which translates as 'Chase at the rear'.
