Always Merry
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features a large butterfly with wings composed of the Union Jack. Two smaller butterflies also have wings incorporating the Union Jack. A small card insert features the message "My best kisses", illustrated with a woman reaching for a basket of flowers.
