A Happy Christmas

Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features two banners consisting of pennants made from the Union Jack, Italian, Belgian, Russian, Serbian and French flags. These flags are surrounded by sprigs of mistletoe and a wreath tied with a yellow ribbon.
