Nurses from the 2/5th Australian General Hospital on the stern of HMAS Voyager following evacuation from Greece. Pictured standing is NX70372 Lieutenant (Lt) Jane Tivey. Pictured seated, from left; unidentified; two unidentified New Zealander nurses and NX70464 Lieutenant "Banksie" Jean Buchanan. Lt Tivey wrote on the verso of this photo "On the destroyer - it was the most marvellous feeling. Can you see how dirty I was? I hadn't had a bath for 5 days and had slept in my clothing in that time too".
