Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features the Rising Sun badge, a kangaroo holding an Australian flag and the Southern Cross. A sprig of wattle and a single red rose also appear in the design.
This card was sent to Louisa May Whale from Stan, Hurdcott Camp, on Anzac Day 1917.
