Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope design with an aeroplane in the centre of the design decorated with the Red Ensign, American and French flags. Small pink and purple flowers also appear in the design. A small card insert features the message "A kiss from France", illustrated with an image of a river scene.
