Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Made with an envelope design, this postcard features the French flag covered by the French Legion of Honor medal, Croix de guerre (Cross of war) medal and the Médaille militaire (Military Medal). A french horn also features in the design. A small card insert features the message "A boy's best friend is his Mother", illustrated with cherry blossoms.
