Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Made with an envelope design, this postcard features a lion resting on a key and a hunter aiming at it with a gun from across the river. A shield composed of the Union Jack also features in the design. A small card insert features the message "Forget me not", illustrated with a bunch of gold embossed flowers.
