Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Made with an envelope design, this postcard features a large horseshoe surrounded by pink flowers and greenery. The bottom corner of the card features the Union Jack, Belgian and French flags tied together with a red, white and blue ribbon. A small plastic card insert features a handpainted purple pansy with the message "Remember [Claver]".
