Happy Christmas
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features both three-leaf and four-leaf clover with the leaves being composed of the Union Jack, Russian, Serbian, Romanian, American, Belgian, French, Portuguese, Japanese and Italian flags. Purple flowers also feature in the design. A small card insert features the message "Birthday Greetings", illustrated with shields composed of Allied flags.
