Studio portrait of 3379 Trooper (Tpr) Henry Bradley 'Lad' Sheridan, 5th Australian Light Horse Regiment, of Rockhampton, Qld. A carpenter prior to enlistment, he embarked from Sydney, NSW, with the 28th Reinforcements aboard HMAT Port Sydney (A15) on 9 May 1917. On 12 January 1918 he fractured his skull after falling from a horse and he developed broncho pneumonia. He died in Ismalia, Egypt, on 24 January 1918 , aged 24.
