Item 1: Plays worth seeing by representative British authors to be given by the Players of the Gate at the Kennington Theatre
Description
Souvenir program for a theatrical performance during the First World War. This program is for a production of plays and poetry at the Kennington Theatre by the Players of the Gate. Performances were held from 3 June to 29 June 1918 and included works by various British authors. Some of the plays featured in the list of performances were 'As you like it', 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Cherry blossom' and 'The house on the wall'.
