Description

Souvenir program for a theatrical performance during the First World War. This program is for the performance of two plays at the King's Theatre in Hammersmith, England during 1918. The first play, 'Trelawny of the Wells' was written by Arthur Pinero and ran for six nights commencing 4 November 1918. The other play, 'His Excellency the Governor' was written by Robert Marshall and ran for two matinee performances. The program features a photograph of Irene Vanbrugh and a description of her work appears on the inside covers.
