Item 22: Doris Keane in Roxana
Description
Souvenir program for a theatrical performance during the First World War. This program is for a production of Avery Hopwood's play 'Roxana', at the Lyric Theatre in London. This program is illustrated with a drawing of actress Doris Keene on the front cover and features full page advertisements together with details of the performance. The program has been signed by Edward White Moncrieff of the 45th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force.
