Officer's winter mess dress trousers : Lieutenant Colonel, Australian Army Medical Corps
Australian Army Medical Corps officer's black wool cloth winter mess dress trousers with a 43 mm wide dull cherry red wool stripe down each side seam. The trousers have a six button fly with black plastic buttons and fasten at the waist with an additional plastic button. The top of the waist is bound with black cotton twill. A small pocket with a white cotton twill bag is set behind each side of the front waist. The waist is lined with white cotton and glazed black linen. Six black plastic buttons are sewn around the inside waist to support braces. When worn, the trousers are held in position by instep straps, lined with glazed black linen, which fasten under the instep with a pair of black plastic buttons.
