Description
Black painted metal body and glass optic binoculars. Attached to the underside of the optic housing is a thin leather strap with black finish on the outer surface. Stamped on the rear of the left optical housing is the maker's name, 'VICTOR LIETZAU A-G', 'DANZIG' above the engraved British model designation, 'NO.3 MKI'. Stamped on the rear of the right optic housing is the optic ratio and serial number, '6X24', '5285' above the engraved serial number, 'IM12359'. The optic housings have the Department of Defence stamp of, 'DD' with a broad arrow between the D's.
