Binocular Case, Number 3 Mark 1
Description
Brown leather case with a black vinyl lined interior. The case has two belt loops attached to the rear and a long thin adjustable shoulder strap to the sides. The lid pivots open to the rear and is secured closed by a short thin leather tab and a small brass buckle. The top of the lid has the maker's name and case pattern marked on the top, 'CASE NO.3', 'PRISMATIC BINOCULAR', 'J.CRIPPS', '1918', 'G'. Stamped on the lower front is a blackened broad arrow. To the left of the underside are the numbers, '28368' marked in pencil.
