Dummy Tanks
Description
Depicts troops preparing dummy tanks before going into action on 18 September 1918. Dummy tanks were used as a decoy by both sides to destract the other and divert fire away from held positions. A similar sketch describes the use of light timber and hessian, with old stovepipes for the guns.
