The concert was held to raise money for the Anzac Club and Buffet. The highlight was purported to be 'Pageant of the Southern Cross', written by Henrietta Leslie. The leaflet features a list of the patrons as well as lists of artists promising to appear as solo acts or characters in the pageant.
