HMAS Sydney Wreck- Dive 1, Part 1 of 2 (The search for the Sydney)

During the footage, the water is clear but the ROV would not move from the garage, rather than waste hours bringing the garage back to the surface, the dive was treated as a reconnaissance mission to take whatever footage was possible for reference material for future dives. There are some files with a metal bar at the base of the picture which is the structure of the garage. Because the ROV is within the garage the whole dive, there is more movement than in other dives as the rolling and pitching of the 2.5 metre seas could not steady the ROV within the garage. The first view of Sydney was heading towards the guns of X turret from port side. From here, the Geosounder made 15 minute jumps to view the port side of the ship first from X turret to Y turret and around the stern before heading back towards the aft search platform. No visible on screen timecode.
