Description
British Territorial Army recruitment poster. One of a series published in 1938 featuring artwork by Lance Cattermole. This poster is No. 3 of the series aimed at attracting volunteers to work in anti- aircraft units. It features an image of an Anti - Aircraft search light unit patrolling the night sky from the centre of a navy blue map of the United Kingdom. Other searchlight beams are visible from different points dotted around the map. The badge of the Territorial Army is positioned prominently in the lower right. The title and text printed in yellow and light blue are positioned in the upper right and lower centre.
