Flight crew trousers
Tan flight crew trousers. Australian manufactured desert tan flying trousers made from a blend of polyamide fabrics and carbon fibre. The trousers have a front zipper with a hook and catch at the top and seven belt loops around the waist.
There are two internal upper thigh pockets with angled zipper closures let in just below the waistband with one pocket on both the left and right front of the trousers. There are two thigh pockets, the left pocket has a vertical zip and the right pocket has a horizontal zipper. A horizontally zippered pocket is located on both the left and right calves of the trousers. Located down the front of each shin is a reverse pleat with zipper closure.
A white fabric label sewn inside the trousers on the right pocket gives manufacturer's and care details, and shows the size '86R'.
Type example of aircrew clothing worn by Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force flight crews deployed to the Middle East Area of Operations (MEAO).
