Description
Souvenir programme for a concert held to entertain troops during the First World War. A Farewell Concert to The Boys of the Motor Transport [The Australian Mechanical Transport Column], held at the Auditorium, Colins St Melbourne held on 11 December 1916. During the concert an address was given by Minister of Defence George Foster Pearce. The programme includes a list of volunteer motorists who had joined the Australian Army Mechanical Transport Corps, an extract from "Australian Motorist, November 1st issue".
