Jarvis, Frederick John 'Dad' (Lieutenant, b.1889 - d.1925)
Description
Collection related to the First World War service of 1349 Lieutenant Frederick John 'Dad' Jarvis, 3rd Battalion, G Company. Collection consists of two black and white photographs of Frederick John Jarvis and E M Jarvis (probably his wife), and two news clippings - one from 1918 describing Jarvis playing the tin whistle at Strazeele, and an obituary dated 1925. The tin whistle mentioned, is held in the collection as REL/18551.
