Front row: 1662 L Cpl George Thomas Pyke; 1917 (previously 2112) Pte John Henry Melhuish Belgian Croix de Guerre; 1126 (1182) Sgt George Albert Radnell DCM; 4437 Pte Leslie Stephen Boardman.

27 Sgt (later Lieutenant) Percival Carl Minifie, a railway man from Watchem, Victoria, prior to enlisting on 18 August 1914, embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Benalla (A24) in October that same year. He was killed in action at Broodseinde, Belgium, in the early morning of 4 October 1917.

4437 Pte Leslie Stephen Boardman, a labourer from Gippsland, Victoria, embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 28 January 1916. Pte Boardman was killed in action at Lagnicourt, France, on 26 April 1917. He was 19 years of age.
