Studio portrait of 1155 Private (Pte) Claude Hastings Kerrison, 36th Battalion. A labourer from Cundle, NSW prior to enlistment, Pte Kerrison embarked with D Company from Sydney on HMAT Beltana on 13 May 1916. Previously wounded in action on two separate occasions, he was wounded for a third time and succumbed to his wounds on 13 April 1918. He is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial.
